Agents who completed the 2026 AML/ATF training and successfully passed the quiz prior to June 1, 2026, are not required to retake the training. Accordingly, the training will not be assigned to their profile.
You have been assigned to complete the mandatory AML-ATF Training & Quiz (Course title: 2026 Detecting and Deterring Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Training).
Under the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act, Agents must operate within the MGA's compliance regime to ensure the reporting, recordkeeping and client identification requirements in the legislation are met for their practice.
This training is a priority within our industry to ensure your knowledge is up-to-date and to enhance your ability to identify indicators of suspicious activities and report them effectively.
For newly and re-contracted agents, you are required to complete the AML-ATF training and quiz within 30 days of being contracted or prior to your first sale, whichever comes first.
Upon successfully passing the quiz, please ensure that the accompanying AML-ATF Training & Quiz Attestation form is completed and signed.
You will learn:
The basics of money laundering;
What terrorist financing is, common financing methods used by terrorist organizations, and the importance of combatting terrorist financing;
The objectives, requirements, and obligations under the Proceeds of Crime (Money Laundering) and Terrorist Financing Act;
Reporting requirements; and
Client identification and record keeping.
